Definitions
Nāma: Name; this is everything that is associated with mentality such as awareness and labels.
Rūpa: Form; this is all that is associated with physicality such as shape and colour.
Skandha: Aggregate; this is a large category of specific things.
Dhātu: Foundation; this is the basis of something’s existence.
Indriya: Capacity; this is the capacity for something’s power and influence.
Viṣaya: Range of Influence; this is the range in which something has influence and power.
Āyatana: Domain; this is the location in which something exists.
Nāmarūpa
Nāma (Name, Psyche) is the mental side of experience, Rūpa (Form, Physicality) is the side formed by the Caturmahābhūtāni.
Pancaskandhāḥ (Aggregates)
• Rūpaskandha (Form Aggregate)
• Vedanāskandha (Feeling Aggregate)
• Saṃjñāskandha (Recognition Aggregate)
• Saṃskāraskandha (Volition Aggregate)
• Vijñānaskandha (Awareness Aggregate)
Only the Rūpaskandha contains all of the differing kinds of Rūpa while the rest are Nāma.
Caturmahābhūtāni (Physical Elements)
• Pṛthvīdhātu (Earth Foundation): solidity, hardness, support;
• Āpodhātu (Water Foundation): cohesion, fluidity, gathering;
• Tejodhātu (Fire Foundation): change, heat, transformation;
• Vāyudhātu (Wind Foundation): motion, pressure, animation.
Ṣaḍdhātu (Psycho-Physical Foundations)
• Pṛthvīdhātu (Earth Foundation): solidity, hardness, support;
• Āpodhātu (Water Foundation): cohesion, fluidity, gathering;
• Tejodhātu (Fire Foundation): change, heat, transformation;
• Vāyudhātu (Wind Foundation): motion, pressure, animation;
• Ākāśadhātu (Space Foundation): space, emptiness, non-obstruction;
• Vijñānadhātu (Awareness Foundation): awareness, cognition, discernment.
Upādāyarūpa (Compounded Form)
These are the kinds of matter derived via the Caturmahābhūtāni:
• Cakṣurindriya (Eye Capacity)
• Śrotendriya (Ear Capacity)
• Ghrāṇendriya (Nose Capacity)
• Jihvendriya (Tongue Capacity)
• Kāyendriya (Body Capacity)
There can also be extra ones like:
• Strīpumindriya (Female Capacity and Male Capacity)
• Jīvitendriya (Life Capacity)
• Kāyavijñaptīndriya (Body-Manifest Capacity)
• Vāgvijñaptīndriya (Speech-Manifest Capacity)
• Avijñaptirūpendriya (Non-Manifest Form Capacity)
Pancaviṣayāḥ
These are the objects of the senses. Viṣaya means a range of power or influence:
• Rūpaviṣaya (Form Range of influence)
• Śabdaviṣaya (Sound Range)
• Gandhaviṣaya (Scent Range)
• Rasaviṣaya (Flavour Range)
• Spraṣṭhavyaviṣaya (Tactile Range)
These are all derived matter.
Dvādaśāyatanāni (Domains Where the Senses are Located and Operate)
Adhyātmāyatanāni
These are the internal domains:
• Cakṣurāyatana (Eye Domain)
• Śrotāyatana (Ear Domain)
• Ghrāṇāyatana (Nose Domain)
• Jihvāyatana (Tongue Domain)
• Kāyāyatana (Body Domain)
• Manāyatana (Mind Domain)

These are the external bases:
